1/21/2014 - Love, it seems, will not keep them together. After 39 years of marriage, The Captain & Tennille (aka Daryl Dragon and Toni Tennille), are divorcing. Tennille filed papers to that end in Arizona on January 16, 2014. The news came as a surprise to Dragon, who told TMZ, "I don't know why she filed ... I gotta figure it out for myself first."

5/22/2014 - "American Idol" alum and former star of "Smash," Katharine McPhee has filed for divorce from her husband, Nick Cokas.

McPhee, 30, and Cokas were married for six years, before a year's separation. Photos of McPhee and "Smash" director Michael Morris surfaced in October 2013. Despite trying to reconcile, the couple has "grown apart," according to a source close to McPhee.

The wheels are off the track because these two are finished. Katy Perry allegedly caught John Mayer cheating with his spin instructor Lauren McHale, and has since booted the hot-in-the-pants singer out of her life for good. It’s about time.

Katy was the one to say enough is enough, because she allegedly found out about John’s hookup with 24-year-old SoulCycle instructor, Lauren McHale. The pair reportedly met at a bar in Los Angeles in May 2013, and went back to her house for a party after having a few drinks.

“They kissed,” the insider revealed. “It was very innocent. They didn’t sleep together.”

What’s more, John and Lauren reportedly pursued something more after their one-nighter: “They texted for a few weeks before it fizzled out,” said the source.

Katy & John Breakup Over Cheating Rumors
Well, it looks as though Katy figured that if John wants to ride with someone else, he can just keep on pedaling his way out of her life.

However, he doesn’t seem particularly broken up over the separation. John allegedly had gotten tired of Katy’s partying and how she constantly wore a diamond ring on her left hand to create relationship buzz. “They have completely broken up and he’s moved out,” the source says. “Katy is a wreck.”

To make matters worse, John was seen at an Oscar pre-party on March 1, at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, Cali. — and he wasn’t alone! The singer was caught snuggled up with yet another brown-haired beauty.

3/29/2014 - Actress Nikki Reed and her husband, musician (and former American Idol contestant) Paul McDonald, have announced they're calling it quits. The couple married in October of 2011.

A rep for Reed issued a brief statement about the split, saying: "After much consideration, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are ending their marriage.They have been living separately for the past six months due to work obligations."

Apparently, the Twilight star and her soon-to-be ex-husband are planning on putting out an album together, however. Reed's rep also said, "They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, I'm Not Falling, releasing in 2014.They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together."

7/2/2014 - Singer Jewel announced that she and husband Ty Murray are divorcing. She posted the news on her website, saying, "Ty and I have always tried to live the most authentic life possible, and we wanted our separation as husband and wife to be nothing less loving than the way we came together."

Murray, a World-Champion rodeo cowboy, and Jewel had been married since 2008 and have one son, Kase.
