Former Beatle Ringo Starr and his wife, former Bond girl Barbara Bach, are selling their bucolic 201-acre estate in the U.K. The price is undisclosed, but it's reported to be “anything from £10 million to £20 million" (or approximately $15.6 to $31.4 million), Variety reports. The couple purchased the eight-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in Surrey for about $3.2 million in 1999. The 18,882-square-foot home includes an indoor pool and spa, "treatment room," and a home theater. The property also includes equestrian facilities, a gatehouse, a coach house, and cottages for caretakers and guests.
The couple told The Sunday Times they're selling because they don't spend much time there anymore. “When you’ve grown up around the dusty backstreets of Liverpool, you don’t ever expect to end up comfortable and settled in the leafy surrounds of Surrey,” he tells the Times. “It’s a world away from everything I knew, but a fantastic world and a beautiful place.”
