Big bang bucks! After some delay, the cast of The Big Bang Theory will finally return to the Warner Bros. studio to begin filming season 8, the network announced in a press release on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

"Production on season 8 of The Big Bang Theory will begin Wednesday, August 6, with contract negotiations now having been concluded," Warner Bros. told Us Weekly in a statement.

As previously reported, filming on the upcoming season was delayed last month while the cast of the CBS smash hit hashed out new salary packages. It was later confirmed that leads Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki snagged what they set out for—$1 million per episode. (The Friends cast did just the same back in 2002.) According to Deadline, they each are expected to make at least $90 million, and potentially reach $100 million with potential syndication. 

It is believed that costars Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar subsequently reached new deals for themselves, although their per-episode salaries have yet to be disclosed.

Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch, meanwhile, both already secured hefty raises. Deadline reports they've both bumped up their current $20,000-$30,000 per episode to possibly $60,000.
