While the actual Bockenheimer Warte Station in Frankfurt isn’t all that commanding, it’s entrance is very impressive, featuring a train bursting through the sidewalk from below the surface. Architect Zbigniew Peter Pininski was inspired by surrealist artist Rene Magritte when creating the entrance.
